I am a former teacher with a master’s degree in education from Sarah Lawrence College. I developed a passion for technical work, and I began training full-time to be a software engineer. I spent the past 14 months completing online courses, supported by regular 1-on-1 mentorship sessions with programmers currently in the field, as well as my parents who are both retired IBM engineers. I am experienced with Javascript, HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, Express, Jest, SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, APIs, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), git, gitHub, AWS, Firebase, Heroku, digital logic + more.
