I have 20 years of experience as a software engineer and would love to use my skills to support a good cause.
My work history includes designing robust, large-scale applications from the ground up; maintaining, improving and/or migrating legacy software; creating internal tools and automation to streamline day-to-day operations; and building platforms to integrate with third-party vendors. In the majority of cases I have been involved in all aspects of a given project. This includes initial discovery and requirements gathering, documentation, design and development, quality assurance and finally production deployment and maintenance. In short I have a thorough understanding of what it takes to not only analyze business needs, but also to design and build comprehensive solutions that effectively satisfy those needs.
Technical skills and background aside, what I believe truly sets me apart is that I also take great pride in my work and enjoy immense personal satisfaction in delivering quality products. In addition I am humble, respectful, accountable and transparent.
