THE ASSOCIATION

The P3 Ambiental Association is an international non-profit organisation established in October 2017. It was created to promote action against fly-tipping, provide training and education to promote a civic culture, respectful of the environment and knowledgeable in reducing, reusing and recycling their domestic and industrial waste by and the use and improvement of established waste recovery routes and organised cleanup and educational campaigns.

The P3 Ambiental Association involves different entities concerned with achieving a natural environment, free of pollution generated by improperly managed waste and is open to collaborating with all, public and private entities, as well as individuals, who participate in the aims of the Association.

The P3 Ambiental Association, created by a group of individuals focused on the need to achieve and maintain a clean environment, is open to all who wish to contribute to this end and has as its main founding purpose of contributing to the information and education of society in the problem of fly-tipping and incorrect waste management.

We are a brand new association, but I have been running clean-up campaigns and education presentation in schools for over 1 year. We are seeking government funding and grants, and for the moment there is no funding available.

THE PROJECT

We are looking to develop a mobile app which will work on IOS and Android, based around a google maps api.

The app will have 4 main sections.

Section 1) Info about the Association

Section 2) A searchable map (via area or postcode). This will have pins that show the locations of Waste Disposal and Recycling containers in the local towns and also companies or associations that deal with waste disposal and recycling. Initially, we are aiming for this to focus on Spain, where we are based, but will eventually be Europe wide. This can only be edited by admin.

Section3) An interactive map that anyone can input map pins with photos. This is for any member of the public who has the app, can take a photo and input a map pin, to show the location of any illegally dumped waste, so that the association can investigate, and if necessary organise a clean-up.

Section 4) A Contact form

The app will be available in 3 languages

We are currently using a simple google maps interface that we are adding to, on our website. Ideally, we would like the maps to be available not only on the mobile app, but the ability to also use them on websites and social media platforms.

THE DESIGN

We are able to provide all the front end interface design and graphics that are required. We have a strong corporate identity and will maintain this theme through all of our products. We will need to work closely on the integration with the design and the coding. The app will need to work on telephones and tablets of all sizes and should be scalable.

If you are interested in donating your time and skills to help us develop this app, please contact me and send some examples of your previous work. Once finished we would possibly require updates from time to time and technical support if required. The app would be the property of P3· Ambiental and you would, of course, have a credit as the producer of the app within the app itself and also as a collaborator on our website.
