Empowr is building out its next-gen course platform that will be used to teach software development to underserved communities.
Our first course on the platform will be teaching iOS development, and we are looking for a team of volunteers to help build course projects. You don’t have to know iOS development to contribute to these projects; if you have a good idea, you can submit it, and one of our other volunteers will create it.
Projects will be mini-apps that teach a specific area of development. This can be using the Rick and Morty API to display a list of characters, teach students about app architecture, or anything you like.
The only thing we ask is to stay away from too classic examples such as building a calculator.
Upon acceptance, we will give you access to our GitHub repo to post your concrete projects or project ideas.
