I have started the idea ‘RoadsideMP’, it’ll be a competitor to TruckersMP, the only other modification for Euro Truck Simulator 2 out there at the moment. A total, non-for-profit modification for Euro Truck Simulator 2.
The modification i need Devs for will enable a single-player game to connect to a client to allow thousands of players (truckers) to truck together. It’s a simple concept but will require developers with the skill set of objective-c to create the client and the skill set of web developers to develop the website which will talk to the client.
At the end of the day, if we can gather enough devs to build this, it’ll be an extremely rewarding product. Thousands of players use the only other multiplayer for this game out there. With ours, people can choose which one to go with – and developers will be in the limelight.
So although this is a voluntary experience, the reward of thousands using this and the attention the devs will gain, outweighs any monetary commission.
I am looking for:
– Anyone with knowledge of objective-c
– Someone who knows their way around memory manipulation
– Someone who knows how to utilise cheat-engine for reverse-engineering games
Bonus:
– Anyone with experience of this kind
– Someone who has knowledge of ETS2, TruckersMP and the history
Although this is voluntary, i will personally pay and gift the client-side developers the game of Euro Truck Simulator 2 to allow you to reverse-engineer it.
