Project description:

We are volunteers who manage swimming in one of the provinces in KZN. We serve a broad community including teaching children to swim, training coaches, putting on events for swimmers, divers and water polo players. We have an existing website (www.swimmersden.com) which is very old (developed 20 years ago) and still uses Frontpage.

We are looking for assistance to develop a modern website based on WordPress. We have prepared a menu structure and proposed layout. We are looking to include a membership application section for people to join our organisation, a calendar and events section, a small online shop to sell swimming kit for our team and fast and efficient file storage system as we share lots of documents ranging from public documents such as newsletters, club correspondence, application forms, and a closed section for confidential files for our executive members. 

We are looking for a developer who can assist us in designing a highly responsive and search engine optimised website. We also use the site to share information including photos, bulk emailing to members. We see the development taking place in phases, starting off with the main website, followed by a second phase of the membership database system, and then an App for our members to use on phones and tablets.
