Hello there!
I’m a forever enthusiast about C/C++, Python and Linux, and decided to join Social Coder to gain experience in working together with people around the globe, mostly remotely. I guess it will be a great opportunity to fine tune my communication skills in English, since here where I live I don’t have many of them; learn new things, get to know people abroad and, I hope so, when I finish my first project be satified by the good job. Of course supporting charity is encouraging as well, but right now I don’t know yet even which charity I will have the opportunity to support, so the involvement with any cause is something I expect to come later.
I guess most information about my career and experience so far will be accessible by my LinkedIn profile, but just to summarize I have more than 10 years of experience working mostly with C/C++, have good proficiency in Python and I regard myself as well skilled in Linux – having had the LPIC-1 certification in the past. But I have made some works now and then in C#, Java, X86 Assembly, and languages that were much more popular in the far pastt like Delphi and Visual Basic – so if you have any old legacy code needing some sort of update, I wouldn’t decline because the language in which it is written is not fashion anymore.
So, this is me. I hope my skills match the right opportunity soon.
