Hi, I’m lahmer ilyas, a full software engineer with more than 5 years of professional experience.
My journey began in 2011 when I joined the university as a computer science major, where I will spend the next 6 years studying all aspects of this art. In 2017, I graduated with honor with both a computer engineering degree and a master degree.
I immediately got hired by the Government as a full-stack developer, where I would be developing management software for two years using Django and managing our CI/CD pipeline using git and Kubernetes.
Two years after that, I got an offer from one of the best companies in the country (SHIFTIN CO), to join as a full-stack developer (NodeJS, react, nextjs, React Native). During my work with this company, an app that I lead its development was nominated as the most innovative app of the year in Africa.
Last April, I joined Nivoda LTD, a UK based b2b diamond marketplace as a Senior React Native engineer. In a short period of time I was able to make a great impact on the existing app by refactoring everything from scratch, making everything smooth and fast. I also single handedly developed an ipad app from scratch that helps jewelers make more sales through our platform.
Two years ago, I started a parallel freelance career on Upwork, and went from nobody on the platform to one of the top talents on the platform.
