Hi, my name is Jon-Pierre Hanna, I am a rising software engineer, with a heavy background in back end coding. I also have a background in Deep Learning, and Data Science/Data Base implementation. These skills come from a strong desire to learn and experience new things. The more expansive my skill set, the better I may help others with the software I create. From this I have an interest in application development, due to it being the best way to implement all my skills, and and create solutions for any type of customer.
In terms of projects, I have experience creating web applications, data base models, and search algorithms. These projects included various levels of group work, utilizing paired programming in some cases, and always requiring a balance of solo and group work. This group work was made possible through a strong knowledge of git and agile methodology.
A project that encompasses my skills the best was a 5 man project to create a web app for suggesting movies and tv shows. Movies and TV shows were suggested utilizing a 10 question system with a correlation algorithm created me and 2 other members. Including this task, I also created the data base models, the system functions to fill the data base, and user related functionalities. This app was developed in Django for the back end, Bootstrap for the front end, and SQLite for the data base. The scheduling and documentation was based on a scrum system, with 2 week sprints for each task.
