I’m a software developer with 13 years of professional experience in the telecoms and aviation industries.
I’ve developed extensively in C++, predominantly frontend applications, often using the Qt framework.
In recent years I have worked in a rapid prototyping and development team, designing and producing web apps for a variety of aviation projects. These include an interactive environmental metric dashboard aimed at air traffic controllers to help them understand the impact of their decisions on the CO2 emissions of the flights they control.
I’ve also worked with the aviation charity Aerobility in a professional capacity to design and develop a visitor registration app.
Most of the web development work has used the MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, Angular, NodeJS), as well as cross-platform app development using Ionic.
I consider myself a fullstack developer, keen to understand every element of a system and learn new skills whenever possible. I have strong experience in UX design and agile development.
