App Developers NEEDED
We encourage anyone, at any age, to join and contribute to the team as we range from high school team members to college students to industry workers!
You can get VOLUNTEER HOURS & College Credit or consider this an INTERNSHIP. There is NO PAY involved. If you are on our team, you will get credit on our website (we get 16k visits per month), so it would be good to put on your resume or college application.
Mind Design Sports (MDS) is a nonprofit organization encompassing sport psychology. MDS helps middle school, high school, and college athletes focus on their mental health, as that’s something that is very important and not usually focused on. At the moment, we have over 100 team members from 30+ countries and have consistent traffic visits from 90+ countries. Currently, MDS is expanding by creating an app. And to accomplish this task, we are looking for a lot of app developers. As you will be working with other people, it will not require too much commitment if you cannot offer that. This will not interfere with any of your internships or activities now and it will not be harmful to any companies. Some experience in coding and making apps is needed, however along with intermediate and advanced development, even beginners should apply, and we will see if they could fit in the team somehow.
There is no money involved/stipend but this is an activity that would look great for resumes, experience, and to learn new skills/knowledge! It is also a low time commitment opportunity and allows for you to work on a team, developing skills for a future job/internship. College students can get internship/practicum hours as well as credit
