CSEC intervention

Hello! My name is Chisato and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a licensed professional clinical counselor. I am also a doctorate student attempting to obtain my doctorate in social work. For this program, we are to create an innovation that we could actually launch that attempts to disrupt a problem that is happening. My innovative idea is focused on commercial sexual exploitation of children. 

There are 2 parts of the innovation that incorporate an app component. The first part is to educate people on how easy it is to get exploited, how hard it is to get out and the lack of choices.  I am attempting to create a “choose your own story” type app that shows that, with a chat to ask questions, where trained survivors, volunteers, and clinicians will answer them. The second part is an app for the current CSEC. This part will be an anonymous chat where they can talk to a trained volunteer or clinician, and two parts that use a location feature: 1. a resources part where it will use the location to show resources nearby and 2. a panic button where it will dispatch a police officer, advocate and clinician to the location.
