Paws & Pause is a Dog day care service based in London, providing an employment training programme for people in recovery from mental health and substance use.
Paws & Pause believes that animals, and in particular dogs, can be the catalyst to engaging people from all walks of life that need respite for their mental health and recovery from substance misuse. We are passionate about the connection between dogs and the improvement of well-being for all people. The training programme provides adults with employability skills and support the trainees into their next steps within the world of work or college.

I’m new to this website so I’m not sure how it works. I am a junior software engineer with some experience in android app development. My day to day role is a Java developer but frequently use SQL and POSTMAN to test API endpoints for a web application. I am happy to volunteer some time to help get your booking app up and running as I am very passionate about both mental health and dogs! Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
