Hi there,
in June this year we launched Squirrel News, a curated news service for solution-oriented news stories. The technical core of the project is a mobile (hybrid) app for iOS and Android. It’s Open Source, built with Ionic Framework and Angular, and uses Firebase as a backend as well as a Google Sheets integration for uploading content.
A first version of the app is finished and available in the stores. But we still have many ideas how to further improve it. That’s why we are currently looking for new developers to join our team!
We are about 12 people at Squirrel News. Yet, we have only one developer so far, Oliver, who doesn’t have as much time as he’d like to, and would also like to work together with other developers in a team to exchange knowledge and ideas.
