Verde Chiaro is an italian volunteer organisation based in the heart of Florence. It aims at developing online free projects for environmental education and respect.
Its first project is Recyclize, an iOS and Android free game app that teaches in a funny way how to correctly recycle waste.
THE GAME APP
Recyclize is a Unity 3D game app and it’s built with a dynamic and scalable database (in Italy waste management vary from cities to cities). The game is currently in an early alpha version. It has one level (kitchen) and a dozen of waste models.
Next step is to implement a new graphic (already made), remove the registration, improve performances, effects and sound, update all our codes on GitHub and develop API to help other projects connecting and take advantage of our rich waste database.
OUR BIG AIM
Our goal is to go international with Recyclize and our next projects. To do so we really count on Recyclize a lot as a source of financing. Our non profit will let companies advertise their products in-app. Money will be used to start new projects. Because the environment need an awake of consciousness.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We have a team of volunteers in Verde Chiaro (journalists, graphic designers, web designers and developers, a game designer) and we now need experienced programmers and mostly game designers and game developers to go a step further. Project management skills, team leading, Unity 3D and C# skills, testing and sound knowledge would be a great advantage.
