The US Coalition on Sustainability is seeking a pair of Sr. Software Engineers who are interested in volunteering some of their time and talent to help us build and scale SustainChain; the worlds’ first free public service platform for accelerating our progress across the Sustainability ecosystem. This is the ultimate story of tech for good as the platform is free and neutral and built by a non-profit operating in partnership with the United Nations. This is an exciting opportunity to be contributing to a solution that Fast Company recently named a ‘world changing idea.’

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
Responsibilities:
A hands-on full stack engineer with AWS experience who will serve on a small but focussed team to support SustainChain’s platform
Design, develop and test software – frontend and backend
Work closely with Product Owner, Scrum Master, design and executive teams to define and build the roadmap for future releases
Build complex, responsive, modern, and consistent web applications
Utilize programming languages such as React, Type Script, HTML/CSS, SQL, Python, PostgresSQL databases as well as a wide variety of AWS tools and services
Working knowledge of Kotlin, Ktor as well as Heroku platform
