Project description:

Even today, around 14% of the world’s population is illiterate.

The aim of the project is to create an adult education platform which is simple to use and serves various purposes.

Basic:

• Technology usage and assistance

• Literacy (reading and writing skills)

• Fact checking skills

• Tackling health issues

• Language/communication skills

Advanced:

• Learning advanced skills which might help a person change their career

• Language learning

Apart from acting as a portal, it can be used as a logistical tool for coordinating on the ground volunteers who help people who do not have access to technology/do not know how to use it.

Since I am from India, most initiatives will be launched from here initially and then slowly we can branch off to other parts of the world. Overall, I have a pretty broad vision for this project and would like to expand to education with a holistic view.

A broad range of skills will be required for this project – from graphic designers to web developers and people who can help with the field work as well.
